Chelsea moved to Armidale for university from the regional centre of Wagga Wagga. She met her husband there, a local boy, and is well established within the local community.

Chelsea heads our dispute resolution team, and has a particular focus on Family Law (divorce, parenting and property settlements) and Criminal Law. She joined Richard and Greg as a Director of the firm in 2018.

 

Throughout university, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws, and post-graduation practical training, Chelsea worked full time in local firms in Armidale and gained a thorough knowledge and understanding of family law, criminal law, civil litigation.  

 

Following Chelsea’s admission as a solicitor some years ago she has been practising primarily in the areas of family law and criminal law, but also appears in general Court matters involving civil disputes.  Chelsea appears in the Local Court, District Court, Federal Circuit Court and the Family Court where she is a committed and passionate advocate for her clients.

Chelsea is an accredited Independent Children's Lawyer (ICL) with the Family Court, having completed the substantial training requirements. ICLs are appointed by the Family Court in some cases to represent the best interests of the children, particularly where there are allegations of abuse or neglect, violence, mental health issues or where the matter is very complex.

 

Outside of work, Chelsea is a devoted mother and keen sportswoman.
